Open Positions:
Scientist, Discovery Technologies
We are currently seeking an experienced scientist to use our proprietary computational fragment-based design methods to discover novel ligands for targets of pharmaceutical interest, contribute to the development and extension of internal de novo design technology, and collaborate actively as part of a design team of computational chemists, medicinal chemists, and biologists.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Computational/Theoretical Chemistry or related field with at least three years experience in the following areas:
- Structure-based drug design
- Development and implementation of new algorithms for lead discovery and optimization
- Application of molecular dynamics and/or Monte Carlo simulations to drug discovery
Programming skills: C, C++, Perl and Python are all highly desirable; Experience with commercial computational chemistry packages such as MOE, Maestro (Schrodinger), Pymol, Mopac, and Gaussian. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
